I took a trip to Peru recently with no direction in mind and ended up here. As someone who has sat in many aya retreats with different facilitators and traditions, I would say that this is the best one I’ve been to yet. The facility was BEAUTIFUL and Luca & Pia were very connected to the Spirit and the ways of the medicine tradition.
When it comes to retreats, it’s more than just about the plant medicine. It takes people who have faced themselves in such a way that they are able to hold space for even the most traumatized of spirits. It takes being in tune with the heart and a desire to serve that is about the person on the mat rather than some grandiose mission that feeds the ego. These qualities are exactly what I found in Luca and Pia. They are true examples of what it means to be fully connected to the healing of the human spirit, and, as you’ll see through the workshops they do, are very educated and deeply committed to the practices they have chosen.
I had a really rough time facing some internal stuff in some of my ceremonies, and the amount of safety I felt to fully surrender was incredible. Even when things got to feel like too much for me, Luca or Pia were always available and knew exactly what was needed to assist me in my process.
Another thing I appreciated was the size of the group and the emphasis on integration. Our group was only 4 people and the small group allowed us ample time to process without feeling rushed and the opportunity to really connect with the others we were journeying with. The focus on integration—even having phone calls in the weeks following the ceremony—is a sure sign of people who are standing for your healing, growth, and the advancement of your life.
The food was also amazing and beautiful—Pia has mastered putting flavor into the aya diet! And her presentation is beautiful.
The sounds healing was also next level. Luca’s knowledge of frequency and connection to his gongs and exotic instruments blew the experience out of the water. It seemed like he knew exactly what the spirit needed at every moment—even if sometimes that was silence. And I had never experienced yoga the way Pia presented it as part of the retreat. This woman is in touch with the ancient yogic practices and knows how to use the body, breath and mantras in a way that creates a transformative experience on all levels—not just with “stretching”.
I’d say that aside from all the ultra spiritual stuff, they are hella funny and also very down-to-earth people. Easy to connect to, laugh with, cry with. There is a light-heartedness to them that actually made me feel very relaxed and like I was hanging out with kindred humans rather than “gurus”.
Luca, Pia—keep doing y’all’s thing! The world needs more of the medicine you bring to the table and I’m super grateful for EVERYTHING that you all helped open space for in my life.

It's difficult to put into words how magical the retreat at Ayasana Wasi was. Pia and Luca created a beautiful container where I felt safe, seen and held. At first, I was unsure because I pictured myself in the jungle, but everything pulled me towards the Sacred Valley and I'm glad I gave in and trusted the calling. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Pia and Luca are very experienced in what they are doing and provided great support before, throughout and after the ceremonies. Pia is an amazing chef and nourished us with delicious food throughout the entire retreat. Luca is an incredibly talented musician and at times it feels like he has 8 arms that are playing different instruments. Especially the sound healing aspect worked so beautifully with the medicine and I am so full of gratitude that I was able to embark my path with Ayahuasca with the two. Pia and Luca created a super safe space and made me feel like home from the very first minute, which allowed me to fully trust and surrender and go to places I never knew existed.
Their music was not only beautiful, but also perfectly chosen to guide us through our journeys with a variety of traditional Shamanic songs, mantras, sound healing and the most powerful gongs you will ever experience! It opened my eyes to the power of sound and transported me to other dimensions in ways I could have never imagined. Pia and Luca keep a very loving, protected frame and enable a holistic encounter with oneself through the balance of the different healing approaches (Kambo, Ayahuavasca, yoga, sound healing, astrology and psychology) and the knowledge from different traditions. Spiritual themes from the ceremonies are expanded and integrated with in-depth psychological knowledge and personal experience. The combination of yoga and shamanism brings relaxation, grounding and focus for body, mind and soul and has given me tools that will continue to be available to me after the retreat. The sound healing was very, very good for me and I feel that the movements of the Ayahuasca ceremony were able to integrate themselves through the sound and that new inner powers became accessible. I felt very comfortable and welcome and was also spoiled by Pia's wonderful soul food! Very tasty, creative and loving dishes. And that despite the Ayahuasca diet! :-)

I went to Luca and Pia with my partner for a Kambo ceremony. Both of them are so welcoming and they did a very nice set up which made us feel home. It was my first time meeting Kambo, so Luca explained everything about the benefits and all the steps, which was really appreciated. They did a really good job to support me through the process by singing and playing music instruments magnificently. Even if it was tough at some moments, Luca always made me safe and gave me courage and support to go through it. Then we had a sound bath to sooth the experience. Luca has so many instruments and he plays them so magically, and it is really amazing when he uses his voice too. He is a great Kambo facilitator, both of them are such beautiful souls. I am very happy and grateful to have met them on my healing path. Highly Recommended!
