Wholeness is not achived by cutting off a portion of one's being, but by integration of the contraries

Integration: The Work
It is commonly said that the real work begins when the ceremony ends, and we strongly believe that the integration work is a fundamental part in commitment to this work. After an Ayahuasca ceremony, a Kambo Treatment or a journey with Sacred Cacao, we might get in touch with a new side of ourselves and our emotions, a new awareness can spark through and many things in front of us might begin to shift to a new shape and colour that will reflect our new state of being. Often, once back into our daily life, job and routine, one can start to experience a different range of feelings from ease and joy to difficulty and confusion, which are natural steps of our inner transformation. This is a time when the the integration work comes into place and tests us about how we apply the lessons learned in ceremony and move through challenges with more ease and trust. As things might shift within and acceptance arises, new paths and opportunities can be presented in one's life, opening the door to more growth, healing and true happiness. Synchronicity will definitely become a constant into one's journey and eventually a new job, relationships and new insights might show up too. These are all scenarios that could happen but are also important tests to our will to transform, to let go and eventually move into a new space fearlessly with trust and gratitude.
The integration process after intense medicine work, especially for the first timers, can last months if not years. This is also important to remind ourselves that plant medicines are not a quick fix and everyone's journey and healing will unfold in its own time, what we know as Divine Timing.
Modern society imposes that we are out of time and we need to run, especially when it come to achieve and accomplish something in our lives. But this is nothing more than a false program that we are called to change. Everything in life comes when we are ready for, plant medicines teaches us to stay present and to live in the moment, which is the only time that exists and where life unfolds itself to us. It will never be too late for a new career, a new relationship, a new place to live or to become a parent but, to be able to embrace changes in our lives, trust and patience are required. Manifesting a better future while holding gratitude in our hearts for what we are receiving today is one key point to happiness and we can see life as already the most precious gift.
Plant medicines are tools for transformation which can only happen through the acceptance of who we are, in our totality and wholeness, with our light and darkness. The term darkness is very much misinterpreted and misunderstood by modern society which generally label it as “bad” and “negative”; but this can't be applied to ourselves because the so called “Shadow Self” is that place where our hidden talents, gifts and light lie dormant but ready to be awakened and liberated from much energetic constrains accumulated in many life times.
The acknowledgement of these hidden parts can feel frightened at the beginning, but the integration of them into our conscious awareness, can trigger the healing mechanism that our soul is looking for. Through the understanding of trauma as the trigger of one's fears, anger, greed, shame, insecurities, etc, which most commonly leads to projections into others, we become the vehicle of consciousness and inner healing, to slowly uncover that powerful Healer that resides within us, who is able to transform “dark” into “light” as an alchemist can turn Lead into Gold. The transformation of fear into courage, anger into love, greed into contentment and shame into compassion can guide the way to self love and forgiveness, the most forgotten values of our era yet the only truth of this existence.
This is an essential work to embrace with responsibility and a nurturing approach towards the ultimate healing of our soul, the eternal liberation from the illusion of separation within ourselves and from others, to grasp the sense of oneness, as we all are, eternally connected.
